Hope 4 the Hungry

Hunger is a global issue that affects men, women, and children, crossing boundaries of race and gender. In the USA, 34 million people are food insecure, 9 million of whom are children. 

“Hope 4 the Hungry” offers attendees the opportunity to make a tangible donation while enjoying time with colleagues and making a difference that will literally save lives. Through the assembly line activity, your group will donate thousands of nutritious vitamin and protein-fortified meal bags that local food banks can use to distribute to those in need. The minimum number of meals to pack during an event is 10,000 (yes, 10,000!).

To begin the program, our lead facilitator asks questions that make participants think about hunger and food insecurity. Teams then learn about the local food bank to whom they will donate thousands of meals. Teamwork, quality control and communication are all vital to success as teams pack protein-fortified meal bags of macaroni and cheese in assembly line fashion. Each 6-serving meal bag contains a mixture that includes 21 essential vitamins and nutrients for beneficiaries. 

To close our events, we invite a representative from the beneficiary to express their gratitude and raise awareness on the impact their work has on the community. This establishes a direct connection to the cause and organization your team is supporting.
