The joy of being a kid and experiencing an uninhibited thrill like riding your very own bicycle is unmatched. To have a sense of freedom as you speed down a hill or a pang of fearful excitement as you ride with no hands, can be a feeling that lasts a lifetime. Taking pride in having an item that is only yours to care for and take ownership of is crucial to understanding responsibility and independence. Unfortunately, the reality is that these milestones are not necessarily shared by all children.

To help try and impact that reality, Impact 4 Good’s office staff participated in a teambuilding activity resulting in a donation of two bikes to a couple of very deserving young ladies at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County.

During the activity, the Impact 4 Good staff was greeted by Russ Triolo, longtime beneficiary partner and CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County. Russ spoke about the incredible work their organization does and the programs that they offer. He thanked Impact 4 Good for our donation saying, “It was a fantastic day for our kids! Lisa and I appreciate all the opportunities that you have provided to us and our kids as we look forward to continuing and growing our partnership with you.”

To close out the bike-build, our bike recipients arrived, surprising the Impact 4 Good team and accepting their donation in-person! Both girls were described as “leaders” among their peers by their summer group leaders. They are always willing to assist an instructor, mentor a younger child or demonstrate a task, making them standouts within their group. It was an honor to experience their joy when we presented them with their bikes and congratulated them for all their hard work.

Impact 4 Good is dedicated to being a good corporate citizen and we were able to share our corporate values with new members of our team by making this meaningful donation and reinforcing the importance of working together to connect with your community.
