Virtual & DIY Events in Action

At a recent event in Mountain View, California, our lead facilitator was stationed in the main campus, and we used web-based software to enable three smaller satellite offices to log-in and compete in a quiz show in real time. Then, teams in all offices used materials provided to build coding computers for local youth, helping them learn about STEM and coding in a hands-on manner, and impacting their local community. Many of our events can be managed in this manner, giving back to causes you care about most. If a virtual event isn’t in your wheelhouse, DIY programs help you keep everything in-house. We send all the program materials and train an office event lead like we did for an automotive client at 4 different offices. Armed with materials and knowledge, your staff can manage these events and connect your team(s) to the local community by:

• packing basic need/hygiene care kits
• building coding computers to help kids learn about STEM and coding
• assembling stuffed animals or superhero capes for hospitalized children
• packing weekend food bags for students on free/reduced lunch programs in schools
