For people experiencing food insecurity, putting food on the table can mean making difficult choices about what else must wait. Groceries can compete with rent, utilities, transportation, medication, and other everyday necessities.

In 2024, nearly 48 million people lived in food-insecure households, and food insecurity affected communities in every U.S. county and congressional district.

With food insecurity affecting individuals and families across the country, September’s Hunger Action Month is an opportunity to bring greater attention to the issue—and take action.

Make Your Impact Matter

Teams can support hunger relief throughout the year in a variety of ways. Through experiences like Hope 4 the Hungry, Putting for a Cause, and CANopoly, employees work together to assemble food donations for people experiencing food insecurity. Breakfast Food Pack Up and Weekend Food Packs 4 Kids focus specifically on children, providing food packs to help ensure they have access to meals outside of school.

What teams create together is only part of the impact. Knowing the donations will directly support people in the communities where employees live, and work can make the experience even more meaningful. That’s why Impact 4 Good connects experiences with a nonprofit beneficiary that can put those donations directly into the hands of people who need them.

Over the years, we’ve partnered with food banks, pantries, shelters, and other nonprofit organizations, including Operation Feed ATL, Food Bank for New York City, and World Central Kitchen, as well as others across the country. These partnerships allow teams to take action on an issue that affects communities nationwide while making a tangible difference closer to home.

And with hunger affecting individuals and families year-round, there’s always an opportunity for teams to help. Every meal and every act of support can play a role in the fight to end hunger.

See how your team can get involved through Impact 4 Good’s hunger-focused give back experiences.
