Get your team working together with this fun and original teambuilding activity that will result in a generous donation of art supplies needed at senior centers! There are over 11,000 senior centers in the US today, serving over 1,000,000 older adults each day. Senior centers rely on a variety of sources for funding such as government funding, public and private grants, special events, in-kind donations and volunteer hours.

This teambuilding activity is ideal for organizations seeking to focus on communication skills and trust within existing teams or newly formed groups.

In Replicating Artwork, your group will be divided into teams that will work together to replicate a piece of artwork provided—using only the power of communication. The teams artists’ will not see the art they are attempting to replicate, but rather will rely on the communication skills of their colleagues and their own listening skills in an attempt to re-create a provided piece of art.

Next, teams will work together to assemble gifts of art supplies to be donated to a local senior center. Art projects have been shown to benefit seniors with everything from improving quality of lift to improved motor skills and communication.
