Description

Hunger is a critical global issue affecting nearly one billion people worldwide. In the US, 25% of American adults struggle with food insecurity, underscoring the vital role local food banks play within communities. These organizations require our support as they strive to meet the needs of so many who are hungry.

There are different ways to give back to organizations fighting food insecurity. A creative way to support a food bank is to donate reusable tote bags, which allows patrons to carry their supplies in a more dignified way while also reducing single-use plastic bag pollution. Participants learn about hunger and the organization they are supporting to kick off the event and then color artwork on canvases with pre-drawn images. Upon completion, they send their completed work to Impact 4 Good, and we print them onto reusable totes. Money is included in the budget to fill each bag with food for donation.

This activity is customizable to meet your goals and objectives, as well as logistics. We can implement the “Hope Against Hunger” activity in the following ways:

  • In-Person, Hybrid or Virtual activity formats
  • Philanthropic Donation Only – The base of all our programs; participants will learn about the cause and beneficiary and then get to work on the donation assembly.
  • Trivia Quiz Show – Teams earn donation materials through an interactive trivia game with cause and customizable company related content.

To close our events, we invite a representative from the beneficiary to express their gratitude and raise awareness on the impact their work has on the community. This establishes a direct connection to the cause and organization your team is supporting.
