Deployment Connection

Military deployment can have a significant impact on the well-being of children in military families. The goal of this program is to support active-duty members and their families by helping them stay connected during deployment.

The program kicks off with a fun and interactive Trivia Grid Show, a twist on “Jeopardy,” where participants are tested on their trivia knowledge in multiple categories and rounds. The trivia content can be customized for your group and can include company-specific questions, military/history-themed trivia and pop trivia fun. Exciting “buzz-in” rounds and Wordle-style questions keep teams engaged and on their toes!

After the grid show challenge, teams work together to complete their donations designed to connect military families. 

Donation & Community Impact 

Each team will assemble two Deployment Connection packages, each consisting of:

• Two sets of books so the deployed parent can read bedtime stories along with their child 
• Deployment journal for a future keepsake of the journey
• One set of pocket hug tokens with heartfelt messages
• Stationary and stamps to write to each other
• Military theme large tote bag
• Fleece blanket with video patch that allows deployed parent to leave a video message for the child

Teams will also write a message of encouragement to include with their donations.

Following the announcement of the winning team, a representative from the real winning team–the beneficiary organization–is invited to address the group, thanking them for their meaningful contribution and raising awareness of the work being done in the local community.
