Heartfelt Children’s Story Workshop

Moral Makers is a creative, purpose-driven team building experience where participants collaborate to craft meaningful children’s stories that inspire kindness, resilience, and empathy. Through this engaging workshop, teams combine creativity and collaboration to create uplifting storybooks that deliver encouragement to children facing challenges in their lives.

The experience begins with a lively icebreaker, often a fun “Human Scrabble” challenge, to get participants thinking about words, storytelling, and communication. From there, teams receive guided prompts and materials to design a colorful children’s book centered around a positive moral such as kindness, honesty, perseverance, sharing, or embracing differences. With guidance from Impact 4 Good facilitators, each team works together to craft a heartfelt story that communicates an important life lesson in a way children can understand and enjoy.

Beyond the creativity and collaboration, Moral Makers delivers a tangible impact in the community. Each completed story becomes part of a donation kit that includes a children’s book, stuffed animal, coloring book, crayons, bookmark, and book bag. These kits are donated to local schools, afterschool programs, and wellness or crisis care centers, placing messages of encouragement directly into the hands of children who need them most.

The program concludes with a meaningful moment of connection as teams assemble the donation kits and reflect on the stories they created. When possible, representatives from the beneficiary organization, or even the children who will receive the gifts, join the event to share their gratitude and hear the stories firsthand.
