Putting for a Purpose Tabletop Edtion

Food insecurity impacts people across all economic and social backgrounds. One in six children face hunger, while millions of families rely on local food pantries and shelters for basic food needs.  

​Many of these organizations rely on donations and community support to help keep their shelves stocked and meet the needs of the people they serve. 

Putting for a Purpose Tabletop Edition brings teams together to compete in a unique hole-in-one tournament while supporting a local food pantry through a large donation of canned and boxed food items.  

Each team uses canned and boxed food items to build a miniature “putt-putt” golf hole on their tabletops. Teams then take turns playing each other’s putt-putt courses, aiming for a hole in one. The design of each golf hole can be customized to reflect the meeting theme, event location, company, or meeting content. 

Once time is called, scorecards are collected and tallied while teams pack the canned and boxed food items for donation. Teams will also write heartfelt messages for local families, reminding them that people in their community care, that they are being thought of, and that they are not alone. 

​If time allows a representative from a local food pantry can be present at the end of the event to share a few words about their work and the difference the donation makes!
