The goal of this event is to create a colorful mosaic mural of praise and hope to donate to a local first responding organization, along with a cash donation. A few days prior to the scheduled virtual team activity, participants receive a paint-by-number panel via mail to their home (approximately 6″x6″), and all materials (paints, brushes, instructions) required to paint. On the day of the virtual event, which can be a weekly program touch point, beginning of the week huddle, or end of the week happy hour, attendees log into a video conference where they sit at virtual tables with their colleagues and are greeted by their executive host who kicks off the program. An Impact 4 Good host joins the web conference and talks about the beneficiary of the program and gives instructions about the program and how participants are to complete one key task: painting a single mosaic mural tile.
As individuals complete their panels, the host brings to their attention that individual images on each panel may not convey the total mural, but when placed together, the impact is quite significant, as all the panels will ultimately come together to make up one (or multiple) large colorful mural(s). The host explains that just as everyone has a part in the direction and success of the client’s company, this activity requires everyone to contribute to “The Big Picture” in order to achieve group success. Following the event, participants use a pre-addressed label to mail their completed panel to our warehouse. Impact 4 Good’s team will create a time-lapse video of the assembly of the mural to share with you and your team later, and will send the mural to the beneficiary.
